I have a special affinity for street photography. I love to see portraits that capture the feeling of a certain time period or the emotion in somebody's face.
Every photographer or photography enthusiast dreams of the kind of score that John Maloof found in an auction in Chicago. Through his research he found that he came a cross a treasure trove of old Chicago street photography from photographer Vivian Maier in the 1950s-1970s. It will be exciting to see as more of her photos are developed and displayed for everyone to enjoy.
